Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has shown her versatility in acting by performing outstandingly in TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 as well as Under the Dome. Her first recognition came from her character Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. The film was her character as Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's right to rights) in the biographical All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's drama period series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for the third season. Recently Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set to release the middle of 2019. She was born in Mangalore, in India. The father Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist before his death on March 18, 2017. Mother Vrinda works at home. Aditya Rao works in the field of merchant navy engineering is her sibling older. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. The family moved to Mumbai and she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College was her final intermediate school prior to her joining D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she achieved a 90 percentile for her H.S.C. exams. She spent five years of her adolescence doing classical dance and studying music. Her favorite subject was Zoology. Bachchan, who was then studying architecture, was crowned Miss World in the year 1994. The title helped her rise into the spotlight of modeling. The model was offered lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine, as well as a spokesmodel contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. She starred in two celebrated parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan was the symbol of New Bollywood with these films which defied the basic Bollywood model of organization. Bachchan was cemented as the New Queen of Bollywood due to her role as the title character in Devdas 2002, which was one of the most famous Bollywood film. This film also became the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002), a dramatized version of the Rabindranath Tagore novel Chokher (2003) has received a lot of praise. The actress was the first Indian to join the jury for the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan played the lead role as a lead actress in Gurinder Chatha's Bride and Prejudice. It was a dance and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. It was at this point that Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power and attractiveness to her debut major film in English. In 2006, Bachchan returned to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). Abhishek Bachchan married her in April of 2007. He's both a Bollywood star and regular co-star.
