Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. Her family consisted of two sisters who were younger, and often was bullied at school because of her large thighs. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer, who provided her with one her first breaks in 2007. Then, she appeared in Glamour magazine's 2009 edition of "These Bodies Look Beautiful at Every Size". Graham's Lane Bryant commercial, which was later banned by many countries, made her headlines once more. In the year prior to its removal from YouTube the advertisement had over 800,000 viewers. The debate grew until Graham appeared with Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show." Graham became a well-known plus size model. Grande started acting and singing when she was very young. In 2008, Grande won a part in The Broadway show 13 before she began to appear on television in small roles. The first time she got a big breakthrough in the year 2010, when she appeared in Nickelodeon's television show Victorious. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl who was attending a performance art school. The sitcom was cancelled in 2013 and she starred on the spinoff show, Sam & Cat.
