Antonina Shevchenko is an Kyrgyzstani and Peruvian Muay Thai fighter as well as mixed martial artist who is currently fighting in the flyweight division of the UFC. Valentina is her younger sister, as well as a fellow UFC participant. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's formidable strike abilities let her TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. Antonina's UFC contract was renewed after this win. Antonina Shevchenko made her UFC debut UFC during The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting match against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko was defeated by Roxanne Modafferi via split decision following her debut fight. Antonina bounced back from losing to knock out Lucie Pudilova via rear-naked choking submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the evening for this bout. Shevchenko was 2-2 over her next three bouts she won against Ariane Lipski, while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee.
